What's up beautiful people. So I had been doing my normal perusing of the internet, and while checking out my friend's Facebook wall I chanced upon this incredible video by Don't Bite Daddy youtube channel. The video features the NYC Freddie Gray protests, skaters Adam Zhu, and Tommy St. Germain, as well as music from Denzel Curry and more including Amherst's very own DJ Lucas. Shout out to him. Check it out:
The whole video has the effect of reminding me that there is still life in people. With visuals of the the protest chants "All the cops have got to go", freestyle rap, and skateboarders grinding concrete and metal, the counter-culture that challenges normative society speaks in the video. If your looking for some revitalization and rebellion inspiring video check out this awesome video. RIP to Freddie Gray, shout-out to Baltimore and every other city fighting against the systemic failure and oppression of America's police force. Take a moment of silence for Black lives lost to racist anti-black terrorists like Dylan Rouf, and a moment of silence also for Black Churches burning throughout the south.
